Hello and welcome to my world. Hailing from Austria, I grew up embedded in Mozart and Beethoven’s rich musical heritage and the grand history of the Habsburg Empire. Exotic cultures fascinated me as early as grade school and by the time I was a budding teenager I harbored dreams of one day traveling the big wide world.
That dream took shape in my early twenties when the bizarre arrival of a stranger launched my older sister Elfi and me on a soul-searching quest. Along the way, twists of events transformed us musical siblings into the singing act Evita & Christina. Rising to unexpected fame, crisscrossing Asia and Arabia, we deciphered karma’s secrets, made harrowing escapes, and serenaded royalty before we found a deeper understanding of what connects us all and what really matters in life.
Following my singing adventures, my former figure skating achievements opened new doors in the United Arab Emirates. At the Abu Dhabi Ice Rink, I established the first figure skating school and off the ice founded the Songbirds, an international children’s performance group. In addition, I released Songs from the Emirates, a collection of original songs about life and people of the United Arab Emirates.
After relocating to the United States and earning my music degree, I started Aunties MusiClub In Long Beach, California before other opportunities took me to Santa Fe, New Mexico and on the road to writing.
My upcoming memoir about an uncharted, five-year journey is an empowering account of sticking to your guns no matter what. Woven into a tapestry of exotic locales, gripping adventure and spiritual musings, it offers lighthearted episodes peppered with personal challenges, along with an underlying frisson of love—in all its incarnations.
